 SML Harmeneers Barbershop Chorus
Westlake Ringers Handbell Choir

Present "A Salute To America"

Sunday June 12th at 4:00 pm

Bethelem United Methodist Church, Moneta

Celebrate Flag Day (June 14th) which commemorates the creation of our flag by the Continental Congress in 1777. The June 12th concert will include patriotic and American gospel barbershop and handbell selections saluting America.  Selections will include such numbers as “Camptown Meeting,” "Shall We Gather at the River,” "When the Saints Go Marchin’ In,” "America the Beautiful,” a George M. Cohan sing-a-long and many more favorite songs.

The SML Harmeneers is a local chapter of the International Barbershop Harmony Society singing four-part barbershop harmony. The Westlake Ringers (westlakeringers.org), formed in 2014, is a community handbell choir with the mission of sharing the joy of handbells in the Smith Mountain Lake area.

The SML Harmeneers are a non-profit 501-3c organization. Funds from SML Harmeneer sing-outs and singing Valentines support our scholarship program for high school seniors in Franklin, Bedford and Campbell County.  The Harmeneers have given out more than $40,000 in scholarships in the 20 years since we began singing at the lake.

While our concert is free, we are asking for a free will offering to support our scholarship program and the community activities and outreach activities of the Westlake Ringers.

Dress up in red, white and blue and join us for a wonderful musical “Salute to America.”

The concert is free and no tickets are required.
