AUGUST/SEPTEMBER
Bald Knob member pieces will be featured at Goose Creek Studio/Gallery.
The reception on Friday, 8/13, from 5 to 8 pm is open to the public and is timed to coincide with Bedford's "2nd Friday" events, many of which are Arts related.

SEPTEMBER
An Exhibit of 50 Paintings will be held at the LOGAN GALLERY, at the North Cross School, Colonial Avenue, Roanoke, VA from September 12th to October 15, 2010. This exhibition is called the BACK TO SCHOOL SHOW. An Artists Reception will be held on Sept. 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM - Public Invited. Sales will partially benefit the North Cross School.

OCTOBER
An Art Camp / Workshop will be held at the W.E. Skelton 4 H Center, at Smith Mountain Lake, on October 17, 18, 19 in Watercolor and in Oil. Robin Poteet will be the Watercolor Instructor. Ed Gowen will be the Oil Instructor. The classes will be 9:15 to 4:30 each day. $ 175.00 as a commuter workshop. $ 290.00 as an overnight camp -- double occupancy -- includes room and six meals; $ 335.00 for the overnight camp -- single occupancy -- includes room and six meals. NOVEMBER

This exhibition is called the PRE-HOLIDAY SHOW. An Artists Reception will be held on Nov. 7th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The Public is invited to attend. DECEMBER
A Community Art Show will be held at the WestLake Library, at WestLake Towne Center during the month of December, 2010. Approximately 40 local artists will show their newest pieces of art. The show will run from December 1st to December 31st. The art work will be for sale by contacting the artist who is exhibiting. Penny Simmons -- (540) 890-8555 is coordinating this exhibition.

Two workshops will be offered at the Skelton 4H Educational Conference Center on Smith Mt. Lake, 775 Hermitage Road, Wirtz, VA. (721-2759/342-5942)
- Workshop I: Watercolor with Robin Poteet, Instructor
- Workshop II: Oil/Acrylic with Ed Gowen, Instructor

A 3 day series: October 17-19 (Sunday – Tuesday from 9:15 a.m. -4:30 p.m.)
Cost
$175 per workshop that includes 3 days of instruction

Workshops have a limited amount of participants and the vacancies will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Over-subscriptions will be refunded the full amount. The instructors will notify participants regarding materials needed. Bring you own bag lunch. Normal kitchen facilities will be available.
