Westlake Library 3rd Annual Juried Art Show

Dates for the 3rd Annual Westlake Juried Art Show are June 4 thru June 29, 2010.

The "Call for Entry" forms are available at the Westlake Library.

Entries are due with fees Thursday, May 6.

  • Artists may submit three original artworks, completed in the last 3 years and not shown in any previous SML art show.
  • No artworks from workshops accepted and maximum size allowed is 36" x 42", including the frame.
  • Entry fees are $15 for 1st entry, $10 for 2nd, and $10 for 3rd.
  • Cash awards will be presented for Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, and Merit.
  • Remaining proceeds will benefit the Westlake Library Capital Campaign.

David Webster, Professor of Art Education at University of West Georgia, Carrollton, Georgia and summer SML resident will judge the show. Webster served as Fulbright Exchange Professor at both Virginia Western Community College, Roanoke and Glenville State College, Glenville, WV. He received both his BA and Master's degrees in England, and his PhD at Florida State University, Tallahassee.
