August 24, 2026 – The Smith Mountain Arts Council, with the assistance of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, has set up a unique kiosk that contains free books related to all subjects of the Arts.
Community Invited to Celebrate SML’s 60th Birthday
August 5, 2026 – Smith Mountain Lake, VA – Two local nonprofits are teaming together to put on a birthday party for Smith Mountain Lake. The community is invited! The Smith Mountain Arts Council (SMAC) and Smith Mountain Lake Association (SMLA) are hosting a sock hop with plenty of fun to mark the 60th year of the lake.
Youth Arts Camp offers a variety of classes
July 15, 2026 – ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The Smith Mountain Arts Council is preparing the canvas for the 4th ever Youth Arts Camp. Kids aged 9-14 can get involved in classes such as dance, painting, acting, music and writing.
