Foodie Fun:
local artist rolls out pasta making class
On Wednesday, Jan. 21, about 20 men and women met at Kaleidoscope – The Gathering Place in Hardy for a pasta making adventure led by renowned fine artist and cookbook author Stephen Blancett.

Dec 2, 2025 – Sheridan Brown, President of the Smith Mountain Arts Council, accepts the third Silver Sponsorship check from Dominos partner, Brent Barrett, with Special Events Coordinator Joe Yarbrough looking on. Mr. Barrett is a strong advocate for community arts outreach. He also supports St. Jude’s Research Hospital and generously supplied 1400 pizzas to first responders and medical personnel during the pandemic.
