Mike DeGiorgi

Mike DeGiorgi has been writing songs since he was 13 years old! Many Smith Mountain Lake area residents are familiar “There’s No Dancin’ at the Dudley”, ” Midnight On Windy Gap” and other tunes that are written about places near SML. Mike is also a member of the Panini Brothers, a local band that includes Larry Sakayama, Chip Conway, Mark Earnhardt and Matt Shively

Mike Franke

Mike Franke’s brand of easy finger-style, singer-songwriter, message-infused blues and folk ranges from gritty- edgy to wise-humorous to just plain hyphenated. Mike pays his friends to say he reminds them of people like John Prine, Chris Smither, Tom Rush, Jim Croce, James Taylor, Clapton unplugged, and lots of other famous people. His stage presence has been described as “warm and fuzzy like a chipmunk but much bigger.”
