The Franklin County Junior Appalachian Musicians (JAM) will hold registration for students on September 9th at 4:00 at the Gereau Center in Rocky Mount across the street from the YMCA.
All students are welcome and must be 9-15 years old to join. Lesson fees are $10.00 a lesson. We offer instruction for the guitar, fiddle and banjo. Beginners are welcome too. There are 5 teachers. One for advanced guitar, one for intermediate guitar, one for beginning guitar, one fiddle teacher and one banjo teacher.
If you have any questions please email Jim Mullens, Director of JAM, at jam@smac-arts.com.
This program is 11 years old and teaches Old Time Appalachian music to students.
