tracy budd

Tracy is a regional artist who teaches at the Studio School in Roanoke Va.

She paints her “life” in her watermedia and mixed media paintings. Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, Tracy’s attraction to the landscape and people and places around her, dominated her artwork. Her painting is a vehicle in which to portray her feelings about her subject. Painting is a language that she finds fascinating, and her goal is to engage the viewer and make them feel the way she does about a subject, using color, shape, value, texture and PAINT!
